Building AI for higher education since 2023.

GoSchool started as an AI tutor tied to a single course.

Since then, working with teaching staff and students across several universities, we have learned how AI behaves in a real higher education setting — and how to build wider institutional solutions from that.

Where we started

With one concrete teaching problem.

Our first question was a simple one:

how do you give students AI that is not a general-purpose chatbot, but genuinely connected to the course they are taking?

The first GoSchool solution was built to answer it: an AI tied to a course, working from the teacher's own material.

That became our first real laboratory.

Not in a demo — in university courses.

What it taught us

The tutor was only the first use case.

Real use showed quickly that the question of AI at a university is much larger than whether a course should have a tutor next to it.

New questions came up:

  • how students actually use AI
  • how a teacher's work changes
  • what control the institution wants to keep
  • how AI should connect to the systems already in place
  • how solutions that work can be shared
  • which administrative processes it can add value to
  • how AI can be adopted institution-wide without building another monolith

That is where GoSchool's present direction grew from.

What we do today

AI from learning to institutional operation.

We work in three areas today.

Learning

Student-facing AI, tutors tied to a course, practice, and access to university knowledge.

Teaching

Teaching workflows, course material development, skills, training, and new patterns of AI use.

Institutional operation

Administrative AI, agents, integrations, MCP, institutional knowledge, governance and custom development.

How we think

We are not here to sell one large system.

Universities already run a great deal of working systems, processes and knowledge.

AI has to connect to those.

So we work in a modular way:

  • a small use case is a valid starting point
  • a component can work on its own
  • existing systems are kept wherever possible
  • only what is worth connecting gets connected
  • the same technology is not the answer to every problem
  • we understand the task first, then choose the solution
Experience

We did not start thinking about university AI this year.

GoSchool solutions have run in several university settings, in real use by students and teaching staff.

That is the basis of our technical and research experience.

    GoSchool's technical focus widens beyond course AI towards institutional integrations and broader higher education use cases.

We know higher education from the inside.

GoSchool is not a general AI platform looking for university use cases after the fact.

The technology started from higher education problems, grew up in a university setting, and learns from real student and teacher use.
