One sentence, and the week's course work is done.
A Moodle agent for educators: it does the work around the course, and the decisions stay yours.
EducatorWho is behind on assignment 2? Write to each of them personally.

Done in the course
- 7 students have submitted nothing yet, 4 only the first half
- 11 personal messages, each about that student's own situation
Message to Anna Kovács · draft, awaiting your approval
Hi Anna, the first half of assignment 2 is in, the second half is still missing. Can you upload it by Friday midnight? If you're stuck, write to me and we'll look at it together.
Send the messages?
Sent: 11 messages, one to each student.
Try it yourselfWhat it does in a teaching week
It shows who is where.
Submissions, late work, extensions and logins: one question and it sums up the course, student by student.
It writes and uploads.
It builds pages, assignments and practice quizzes into the course from your own material, and puts the questions in the question bank.
It sends once you approve.
Personal messages, announcements, grades and feedback are shown to you first and sent only after you approve. The grade is always yours to give.
Try it in three steps
1. Get a trial course
Register in the trial Moodle. You'll get a confirmation link by email (check your spam folder too). About a minute after your first login, your own course is ready, with 20 fictional students, submissions and late work.
There is no real student data in it, so experiment freely. The course material is in Hungarian.
2. Connect it to Claude
In Claude: Customize → Connectors → + Add → Add custom connector. Paste this address:
https://moodle.goschool.ai/local/nitro/mcp.php
When asked to sign in, use your trial Moodle username, not your university one. It works on every Claude plan; the Free plan allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds it for the organisation and you turn it on with Connect.
3. Ask as you would a colleague
For example: “Who is behind on the assignment? Write to each of them personally.” Or: “Make a practice quiz on topic 2 for Friday.”
Messages and grades are shown to you first and sent only after you approve.
Stuck?
Write to us and we'll help you set it up.
You stay in charge
Nitro works with your own Moodle permissions: it can do what you can, no more and no less. Messages, announcements and grades go out only after a preview and your approval, and every step is recorded in Moodle's own log. You can disconnect it at any time.
On your own university's Moodle?
For that, the university's Moodle admin installs the Nitro plugin and decides which educators can use it.
Talk to us: we'll show it on one course and walk the admin through the installation.
Try it on a practice course.
Ready in a few minutes, with fictional students and no real data.
